Ingredients of Khatta Dokhla

  1. It's 3 cup of idli batter.
  2. Prepare 1 cup of chanadal.
  3. You need 1 cup of curd.
  4. You need of Salt as per taste.
  5. You need 12 tbsp of turmeric powder.
  6. It's of Garlic chutney:.
  7. Prepare 2 tbsp of garlic.
  8. You need 1 inch of ginger.
  9. It's 3 of green chilli.
  10. Prepare 3 tbsp of Corrainder.
  11. Prepare of Salt as per paste.
  12. You need 1 tbsp of chilli powder.
  13. You need 1 tbsp of corrainder powder.
  14. It's 1 tbsp of oil.

Khatta Dokhla instructions

  1. Soak chana dal for 3 hours and then grind it coarsely. In a bowl take idli batter which u have ready on hand add chana dal paste curd turmeric salt and mix it completely and keep for half an hour for rest. keep idli Dokhla stand to get heat poring water in it to get steam. In the mixture add baking soda dissolved in water add in the mixture and stir it in one direction for 2 minutes. Grease Dokhla plate.
  2. Pour this mixture into it and sprinkle red chilli powder and close the lid steam it for 15 minutes keeping heavy vessel upon the lid. Once it cool down take it out in a serving plate and serve with sweet chutney and garlic chutney.
  3. Sweet chutney- jaggery and tamarind same amount soak for 2 hours. Grind a smooth paste. Add 1 cup water and boil it. Once cools down serve with dokhla.
  4. Take all garlic chutney ingredients together and make a fine paste add oil into it and serve with dokhla..
  5. Here I have took idli batter in that we already have rice and urad dal Mix all dal Dokhla and 2 types dal along with rice also we can do. Must try it.
