- Roast 1cup sooji on low flame for 4 minutes and keep aside.Take a pan, heat it up add ghee and mustard seeds,few curry leaves then add onion, green chilli saute well.
- Further add capsicum, tomato,salt and ghee mix well. Keep the flame low, start adding roasted sooji, now pour 4 cup hot water, stirring continuously with another hand..
- Mix continuously till sooji absorbs water. cover the pan for 2-3 minutes. Serve and garnish with onion..
I know I have posted a recipe for it here already. In my opinion, rava upma has to be very soft and should just melt in your mouth. If you don't make it I have made this upma will lots of veggies so it makes it even more tasty. If you are looking for a basic. Rava upma is my fav and I wouldnt complain at all even if its served daily…I like both wheat and white rava recipes….
